A reminder that this 'blog' is just a note pad set up to convey TB2K news when the site is down. I have absolutely no relationship with that board, its owners, staff or those who post there. I threw this together on the off chance news might happen & TB2K be unavailable. That did indeed happen, with the whole w\d from syria, threw the Kurds under the bus episode. So that worked as intended. What is not working is me having to take the time to read about, monitor or discuss this board's contents. Posting non related info discussing past board issues is wonderful.... SOMEWHERE ELSE. Doing that here is clearly beyond the purpose and intent of this venue. I am the only one who reads it, as well as being the sole responsible party for keeping house, so all you accomplish is pissing in my cereal. Poor form, bad manners, and certainly at odds with the image you seek to portray as a righteous warrior setting wrongs aright. Momma doesn't have time for that, none of that, and I trust you'll start your own blog for those matters of interest to you. Thanks.

(10/13/19 10:33 am) SOFTWARE UPGRADE - Status update - **SEE POST 37** Well kids, the hardware updates are in place, the search index successfully rebuilt (finally), and things have stabilized. We now have 1.3 terabytes of SSD space at our disposal. Today, I leased a new domain, “tb2k-legacy.com”. Once we make the changeover to the new software, this version will be accessible through the above URL. Access will be READ ONLY however. I will be reviewing the support software required for the XenForo software, as well as the conversion bids I received back in June. I’ll let the contract to someone, and hook them up with our admin. I don’t have an ETA yet, but I’ll keep you all in the loop. . ( 10/16/19 12:02) I’ve settled on a person to perform the upgrade, and will draw up a service contract this evening.
